How to apply.

  • Apply in fall when broadleaf weeds are actively growing (typically mid-September through early November in NY).
  • Broadcast 3.6 lb per 1,000 sq ft in one pass, OR split into two passes at half rate, criss-crossing for even coverage.
  • Apply to damp grass — morning dew or a light watering helps the granules stick to weed leaves for better kill.
  • Don't mow 2 days before or after application. Avoid mowing clippings onto garden beds.
  • Sweep (don't wash) any product off driveways and walkways — iron and herbicides can stain concrete.
